Scott Pearson

Scott Pearson is an Honourary Captain of Team Cornwall.

Toronto Maple Leafs made Scott their first-round pick (sixth overall) in the 1988 entry draft, after an impressive stint with the Kingston Canadians of the Ontario Hockey League. He later played for the Quebec Nordiques, Edmonton Oilers, Buffalo Sabres and New York Islanders.

Scott also played in the American Hockey League and the International Hockey League. In the IHL, he helped lead the Chicago Wolves to two league championships — 1998 and 2000. He played for Team Canada in the 2000 Deutshland Cup, which was won by the Canadians. Scott finished his hockey career with Essen Moskitos of the German Elite Hockey League. He now lives in Atlanta, Georgia and works as a Director for MedAssets.

Scott was inducted into the Cornwall Sports Hall of Fame in 2004.

The Cornwall Sports Hall of Fame is located in the Civic Complex, overlooking the St. Lawrence River in Downtown Cornwall. The Sports Hall of Fame was created to celebrate the heritage of sport in the community, and to recognize the accomplishments and efforts of the many athletes and builders who have worked hard to promote their own individual sports.
