How the Team Cards Work
Team Cornwall cards resemble popular hockey or baseball cards, except instead of profiling a sports star, they profile ambassadors for the City of Cornwall, Ontario, Canada. The cards are professionally printed on heavy card stock, in full-colour and on both sides. They are then laminated to ensure a long-lasting finish.
Team Cards are automatically given to all new Team Members as they join Team Cornwall. Team members pay for the cost of printing the cards, and hand out their Team cards throughout the year to people they meet as they travel or conduct business.
The Team Card has three functions:
- it provides the same contact info found on a normal business card
- it promotes the attributes of Cornwall as a place to do business and live
- it acts as a collectible conversation piece
Each Team Cornwall follows a standard template, but is personalized to meet the individual's needs.
The Front of each Team Cornwall card profiles the Team member. Usually limited to one person per card, the person should be wearing business attire. It is best to use a professional photographer to take a standard "head and shoulders" shot, and submit it Team Cornwall as a high-resolution digital file.
The Back of each Team Cornwall card has three sections. The first is reserved for basic contact info, including Company name, address, telephone, e-mail and website info. The second section allows for a two-sentence profile of the Team Member and/or the company. The final section profiles the City of Cornwall and Team Cornwall.
