Team Cornwall Recognized in Parliament
Team Cornwall received national recognition yesterday (May 12) when Stormont-Dundas-
South Glengarry MP Guy Lauzon rose in the House of Commons to "tell all Canadians about an organization I'm very proud to belong to - that organization is Team Cornwall."
After reviewing the history and objectives of the organization, Mr. Lauzon encouraged "all Canadians looking for a community that they can work, invest and raise a family in, to visit ... Cornwall's most recent initiative online at www.ChooseCornwall.ca.
Mr. Lauzon also mentioned that Prime Minister Stephen Harper was named an Honourary member of Team Cornwall in August, 2006.
In closing, Mr. Lauzon said "I want to thank each and every member of Team Cornwall for the outstanding job they are doing promoting the wonderful city of Cornwall."
Mr. Lauzon has been a staunch supporter of Team Cornwall since becoming a member in 2004. He regularly attends Team Cornwall meetings and events, and has been a valuable resource for the organization.
