Hockeyville Final Results
Well, the final results are in from 2007 Kraft Hockeyville contest, and the numbers are surprising. Over 928,000 votes were cast in the final round.
Although Cornwall finished in second place, it can take some solace in the fact that it garnered more votes by population (4.5) compared to the winner North Bay (4.01). In other words, although North Bay has a larger population than Cornwall by about 17%, the difference in total votes cast was only 6.5%.
Of course, the above analysis, while interesting, does not take into account the number of votes from people outside both cities. Full credit and congratulations go to the people of North Bay on their well-deserved win.

- Smithers, BC : 157,747
