Team Cornwall would like to thank all those who supported Cornwall's hockeyville bid. Although too numerous to mention, let us at least try to recognize some of the key players:

• First and foremost, to everybody who voted for Cornwall - each vote counted and was important!
• Christine Levebvre, Lorne Taillon led the City's recreation department as the lead agency
• Cornwall Media:
  • Corus promoted the event and setup the Cornwall Square voting together with Bell Canada
  • The Standard-Freeholder gave the event unparalleled coverage
  • The Seaway News covered the competition from start to finish
  • Le Journal also supported the bid
  • Cogeco's The Source covered the story and staff Bill Makinson and Pierre Giguere put together the video, and David Murphy supplied the voiceover
• Ottawa Media:
  • Max Keeping and CTV Ottawa helped Cornwall deliver the message in Eastern Ontario
  • The A-Channel featured our efforts on their Morning Show, and again on the Ottawa Senators game broadcast
  • CFRA and The Bear ran interviews
• Mayor Bob Kilger and City Council supported the event
